Holly Choi discovered her passion for teaching while working in the medical software field for over 5 years.
Following the birth of her first child in 2015, Holly certified as a First Aid Instructor with the Lifesaving Society BC/Yukon Branch. Shortly thereafter, Holly became co-owner of Safe Beginnings First Aid alongside her sister, Jill Colpitts. Safe Beginnings First Aid is the Greater Vancouver area’s leading provider of infant and toddler-focused safety courses; currently educating over 2500 caregivers and professionals each year with essential lifesaving skills.
With a keen interest in child safety, Holly certified as a Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) in October 2015 with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC). Since certification, Holly continues to volunteer weekly in her community; helping caregivers gain confidence with their car seat installation and usage. In October 2017, Holly certified as an Instructor (CPST-I) with CPSAC, and now trains new CPSTs across the Greater Vancouver area.
When she’s not busy teaching, Holly can be found enjoying family time in North Vancouver, BC with her husband and their two young daughters.
